This guide will cover all 3 of the Jetpack devices we currently provide. Please navigate to the section of the page which contains your device.
Portable 4G Router
1. Please connect the provided USB-C cable to the device, as well as connect the antennas.
2. Press and hold the power button for 3 seconds until the device powers on.
3. Look for the serial number of the device, this is located in two places, on the box and on the device. (You will need the last 8 digits of this number)
4. Log into the device you'd like to connect to the Jetpack. For this guide, I will be showing an example of connecting a computer.
5. Navigate to the search bar at the bottom of your screen, and type in "Wi-Fi"
6. Select "Wi-Fi Settings" and underneath "Wi-Fi" at the top of the menu, there should be an option to "Show available networks", You're going to be looking for a network with the name of "CR202-XXXXX" (This number will change based on your serial number)
7. Select "CR202-XXXX" as the network. The password will be the last 8 digits of the serial number. Once you've entered the password for the first time, it will remember the device you've signed in with. In our example, the password is "157XTNZF"
8. You're done! You should now be connected to the Jetpack.
TCL Linkzone
1. First, install the provided battery into the device, and then power on the device by pressing and holding the power button. The display should light up and you should be able to select a language.
2. Navigate the screen via touch, and select "Wi-Fi Name/Password"
3. Next, log in to the device you wish to connect, in this case, a computer, and navigate to the search bar at the bottom of the screen. Type "Wi-Fi" and Wi-Fi settings should appear.
4. Select "Show available networks" and look for the name provided on the TCL Linkzone display.
5. Enter in the information provided and you should now be connected!
Franklin A50 (ATT&T Jetpack)
2. You should see the network name and password displayed on the screen, if not, navigate via touch to obtain this information.
3. Next, log in to the device you wish to connect, in this case, a computer, and navigate to the search bar at the bottom of the screen. Type "Wi-Fi" and Wi-Fi settings should appear.
4. Select "Show available networks" and look for the name provided on the Franklin A50 device.
5. You should now be connected!
