Windows 11
1. Press the ⊞ (Windows Key) then the S key to begin searching for applications on the computer.
2. Search for "Windows Security" in the search bar and open the application.
3. Once opened, you should now see this screen.
4. From here, navigate to "Firewall & network protection", you should see this screen.
5. If your Firewall is turned off, like shown in the image above, simply click "Turn on" and wait for the green check mark to appear.
6. You're done!
Windows 10
1. Press the ⊞ (Windows Key) then the S key to begin searching for applications on the computer.
2. Search for "Windows Security" in the search bar and open the application.
3. Once opened, you should now see this screen.
4. From here, click on the hamburger icon.
5. Once you've clicked on it, there will be a menu displayed underneath the icon.
5. Click on "Firewall & network protection", and then you will be greeted by this screen.
6. If your firewall is turned off, like in the image above, click "Turn on" and wait for the green check mark to appear.
7. You're done!
